Purpose
The Case Home page is the landing page for a case within Pattern. From here, you can perform actions such as conducting a case review, adding or deleting documents, creating a case profile export, discover document insights, and updating case information.
Case Information
The Case Information pane displays basic demographic information for a case. Clicking the pencil icon in the top right hand corner of the Case Information pane will allow you to edit this information. You can also add custom fields to the Case Information area (for example, SOL dates). Submit a request to add new Case properties.
Case Status
Use this drop down to change a case from active to inactive.
Review
The button underneath Review Status is the entry point to the Review and Profile pages. The button text will indicate the status of a review so that you can quickly tell what, if anything, needs to be done for the case. If a case is unreviewed, it will display "Start Reviewing". If the case is finished, it will display "View Completed Profile".
Discover
To use Discover, click on the text input and start typing your search. When you start typing, the familiar Discover window will overlay on the screen:
Document Summary
The document summary quickly displays how many documents are within a case as well as the overall counts of documents by their review status. This section can be customized with calculated metrics based on data in the profile.
Document Table
The Document Table visible contains an abbreviated listing of the documents within a case. To see more details on documents, add new documents, or delete existing documents, click the "View Documents" button in the upper right hand corner of the Document Table to bring up the Documents view:
Analytics and Exports
The Criteria page acts as a high-level overview of the case's profile criteria. This section also contains any Export functions, previously available on the Review and Profile pages for easier access. Any custom case-level reports will also be available here.
