Purpose
When pattern processes medical records, we calculate our accuracy at reading each page. In some circumstances, such as extremely bad scans, poor handwriting, or documents that contain text and data that do not comport with language (such as electrocardiogram readings), we will not be confident in our read. The case's Read Quality Page will contain any pages that are below our read confidence levels. This article will help you use the Read Quality Page.
How to Get There
Select the Read Quality icon above the document list:
Layout
There are two panels on the Read Quality page. The first-panel contains Pattern's read of the document. This panel also contains the total number of pages that scored low in read quality. The second-panel contains the actual document, including highlights on the portions of the document that could not be accurately read.

Using the Read Quality Page
The goal of this page is to ensure relevant evidence for the case is not missed due to low document quality.
Step 1: Review the highlighted portions of the page that could not be accurately read.
Step 2: If the content is not relevant to the case, you can click "Page Done" to clear the page.

Step 3: If the content is relevant to the case, you can click "Pin to Profile" and add the evidence to the Case Profile. You can learn more about pinning findings to a profile here.

Step 4: Click the "Next" button to navigate to the next page that could not be accurately read.

Once satisfied with Read Quality, return back to the Case Home by selecting the X in the top left corner.
