To learn the basics, please visit our article What is Pin to Profile?
The Review page is designed to to assess the related evidence for a case. When you locate the relevant evidence that helps answer a question in the profile, select Pin To Profile.
The Pin To Profile button will reveal the data that must be collected for the Profile. Pattern will pre-populate the data that has been identified to save you time. However, you will see that some data may be labeled as optional. Any data that is not labeled optional will be required for you to save before pinning said evidence to the Profile.
By default, Pattern will pin the page that contains the evidence. The button Page Range allows you to pin a specific page range.

When you click the Page Range button, you can adjust the start and end page that should be included in the pin. By default, the page that contains the evidence that you're pinning will be the first page and the next page will be the end page. The pages included in the pin will be displayed in the Case Profile under the References section:
There are two types of page ranges you can pin to the Profile:
- The first full page is pinned without a block of text
- A block of text on the first page is pinned with the consecutive pages pinned
The screenshot below shows an example of each.
