Below are the updates we've made to to enhance accuracy and address a few calculation issues in all CPAP lenses:
- Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs):
- Previously, multiple responses logged for the same test date were treated as separate PFTs in severity calculations. This has been updated to consider only unique test dates.
- Category D Injuries:
- Calculations will now focus solely on disqualifying injuries specific to Non-Specific Interstitial Pneumonitis, excluding applying that to any other Category D injuries.
- Section Outcome Commentary:
- Refined to provide clearer instructions on required case actions.
- EPP Worsening Update:
- Cases lacking product dates and asthma responses without dates will now default to "Worsening" instead of new onset EPP/FEP, ensuring a more accurate case outcome. For these cases, we're making a conservative assumption based on the aggregate data reviewed, with the understanding that product dates may be provided at a later time. Once product dates are submitted, the case outcome will be recalculated using the evidence provided.
- For cases with product dates but asthma records lacking a confirmed timeframe, the presence of albuterol, exacerbations, or SOB/wheezing visits will also trigger a "Worsening" evaluation instead of a non-qualifying outcome.
- Bulk Admin Packet Generation:
- Individual admin packets can be generated directly on the platform. For bulk generation, please provide a list of cases, and we will generate the packets and deliver them to your SFTP within 48 hours.
